The next launch attempt will be on Monday, November 7, in a five-minute window that opens at 5:27 a.m. EST (2:27 a.m. PST). Loaded with more than 8,200 pounds of research, crew supplies, and hardware, Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus cargo spacecraft will launch on the company’s Antares rocket from Virginia Space’s Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport’s Pad 0A on Wallops Island. This Cygnus spacecraft is named S.S. Sally Ride, in honor of the first American woman in space. NASA’nın Uluslararası Uzay İstasyonu’na (ISS) 18. Northrop Grumman ticari ikmal hizmetleri misyonu, Japonya, Uganda ve Zimbabve’den kamera teknolojisi ve küçük uyduların bir gösterimi ile birlikte bitki mutasyonları ve çamur akışı yapısı gibi konuların bilimsel araştırmalarını yürütüyor.
